Enhydro Quartz, Collector's Item

Enhydros are a special case: they are extremely rare in nature, highly sought after by collectors, and very often faked. The East Asian market, in particular, is flooded with specimens into which water has been injected afterwards (the sealing of the drill hole can usually, though not always, be detected with a UV lamp).

This made us all the more delighted to finally find enhydros directly from the mine in Madagascar and to guarantee their authenticity. What's more, these are two specimens of an absolutely rare size. They have been partially polished to highlight their natural beauty. The water bubble is visible to the naked eye in both models.
